OUDOMXAY, Laos: In Oudomxay, Laos, only 3% of students have the opportunity to pursue upper Secondary education. With a mission to provide continued quality education for children in the region, Phuanmit (“Friendship” in Lao) School was founded in 2017 with just 17 students and a shared love for learning.

6 years on, this first batch of students will be graduating and leaving the school they have called home for a large part of their childhood.

In "Seeds of Friendship", Hoadu Xiong and Yua Lorvaseng, students from the pioneering batch of Phuanmit School reminisce about the good times they have shared with their friends and teachers, celebrate their personal and shared achievements and look ahead to their futures.
