As volunteers from Keep Helping Each Other (KHEO), a non-profit organisation based in Laos, Phin and Soutthida have been working closely with children from rural communities to ensure they get access to education.

Unlike those hailing from urban communities, parents in these rural communities may not see education as particularly valuable, preferring for their children to work in the farms instead.

By sharing their experiences, Phin and Soutthida hope to encourage more parents to send their children to school, having witnesses the positive impact it can have firsthand.
