Two Hearts, One Mission

OUDOMXAY, Laos: Pamai and Medo, friends from university, leave their country for the first time and find their way to Oudomxay - a small village in Laos 2390km away from where they first met in Nagaland, India.

As Laos is plagued with limited access to resources, education for children in Oudomxay is hard to come by. Phuanmit School, directly translated to “Friendship School”, was started by missionary Mina Kwak. Having built a team of teachers, buildings and dormitories, Phuanmit aims to raise a new generation of well-educated and driven individuals.

Uprooting their lives from the comfort of their homes and loved ones, Pamai and Medo explore their motivations, rewards and sacrifices in this documentary.
