LUANG PRABANG, Laos: When a school can’t be reached by road, learning finds its way along the river. Stories Afloat (also translated as The Boat of Dreams in Laos) captures the Luang Prabang Library’s remarkable mission to bring books, essential learning resources, and the joy of reading to students across remote riverside communities.

Initiated by the Luang Prabang Library and funded by Baraka Community Partnerships, this effort is carried forward by dedicated librarians like Ny, who travel along the Mekong River to reach these schools.
