VIENTIANE, Laos: Beyond the Threads follows the real stories of Thany and Yenlly — two women who found strength, dignity, and independence through their work at Xon Phao, a Lao social enterprise supporting people with disabilities.

In this feature, learn how the organisation offers equal employment opportunities to people with disabilities as handicraft makers. Xon Phao's work reflects a belief in ability, regardless of disability.
